Digital Literacy Library / Training is designed to teach skills that are essential to navigate in an internet environment.
Overview
The Digital Literacy Library program is a collaborative initiative between the Faro Foundation and Meta, designed to provide flexible learning solutions for classrooms, extracurricular activities, home environments, and both individual and group study. To ensure a comprehensive educational experience, the Digital Literacy Curriculum features a structured framework consisting of 23 detailed modules organized across 5 core chapters.
What we set out to do
- Prevent and protect adolescents from cybercrime, conflicts, and online risks.
- Promote the responsible and proper use of social networks.
- Improving their legal knowledge regarding digital communication.
- #GOODSHARE campaign
What we did
- Conducted public awareness training for secondary school teachers across Ulaanbaatar and the Western provinces.
- As part of the "GoodShare" working group, Faro Foundation Mongolia co-developed and published 40 graphic posters and 15 video tutorials on social media during the 25-day campaign (October 1–25).
Outcomes
- 44,000+ citizens trained
- 50+ seed teachers, 700+ trainings
